An IMAP Monitor allows you to test the availability and response time of your IMAP server by connecting to elected IMAP port (optional: through the secure SSL/TLS connection), via public and private agents.

Once you add an IMAP Monitor for your IMAP server, Anturis agent will start trying to connect to your server according to the time intervals you specified, to check if your IMAP server is accessible.
An IMAP Monitor connects to the specified IMAP port and waits for the server to respond. If the IMAP server fails to respond, or responds with an error code indicating that the service is not available, Anturis Agent considers the test to have failed.
